Selangor - Kuala Selangor Kuantan Village Fireflies

Info Board - Fireflies is a type of beetle, active at night. Their tails give out a sort of light in unison at night so that a colony of them will produce a glittering brightness such as thousand of stars or nearer example on earth - glittering cristmas lights.

Terengganu - My House

Today I don't feel so good cz the house I'm supposed to move in to has been leased to someone else.. very annoying. Thank god I checked cz if not, I wouldn't know and they do not have to courtesy to notify me.

How can I get a new house in the next 9 days? I'm supposed to start working in my new office on June 2. Want to settle the moving house part before that. Annoying annoying!

Sri Lanka - Buddist Temple

Most of the Sri Lankan are Buddist with some other relegion thrown in such as Hindu and Moslem. I was surprised to find that Sri Lankan converse in English. Must be due to the invasion by foreigners before it reached its independence.

The Bodhi tree. This three is from one of the sapling from the original Bodhi tree where Buddha reached his "enlightened" stage.

Statue of Buddha at the final stages of his "enlightment". He fasted and fasted till his body shrunk to this proportion. Hmm.. remember Keanu Reeves once acted in a Buddha film. Hunky!

Gems... gems.. gems.... Actually Sri Lanka is one of the motherlodes for gems.

The tiger eye (my birth & lucky stone) that I bought for RM300. Was told later by others, that I should've got it cheaper.

The owner... I've forgotten his name already after two years.

Sri Lanka - Elephant Orphanage

Elephant orphanage at Pinnawala, Sri Lanka. Some of the elephants were left behind by their group and gathered at this orphanage. For this, I used my Nokia 3230. My younger brother has that phone now.

Sri Lanka Visitor

I saw from my visitor map counter that maybe one visitor from my site live in Sri Lanka. I did went there about two years ago. So, when I was shifting tru my computer. I saw some interesting pictures there. I am a bit busy at the moment but I aim to put those pics up in the next few days!

Pahang - Bukit Tinggi's Colmar Tropicale Rabbit Farm

The Rabbit Farm. The house is where you can sit and have your drinks while watching rabbits hopping. Can also buy the very small packet of Rabbit food for RM1. Oh before I forgot, if you want to visit Colmar, the fee to get to all their attractions is RM20/adult but if you stay there, you get free entrance to all their attactions.

A cute rabbit up close. Got a nasty experiance once when my pet rabbit (which my family kept about 15 years ago) peed on me. Nasty! So, that's why I am not keen to hold one.

An orphan murai (mynah). Think he's a young orphan bird cz when we move our hand, he opened his mouth asking to be feed. I manages to put in around three bit size of Twisties actually. A bit tempted to bring him home. I hope he is ok. Don't see any cats lurking around so I think he sould be safe!

Pahang - Bukit Tinggi's Colmar Tropicale Japanese Garden

On the way up. Colmar Tropicale boasted the first Japanese Garden set up in a tropical rainforest.

Koi Pond. When I came here earlier a few years ago, it was better. The water was flowing. Now some of the stream had dried out so it is a bit unkempt.

The Japanese house up close. If you want, there's a tea ceremony for RM20. You can also hire the kimono for photo session (RM40).

Koi pond. Again, I think the water level had receded since the last time I came here.
