Ramblings...

Hmm.. haven't been posting for quite a while, nearly a month plus and soo much things had happened.. been busy, been to KL, been to Waterpark holidaying, so much things happen and so little time to record everything..

Just had an audit visit for the past two days and then had a fun time going round with them shopping for batik and scarfes... Hmm I am not in a good mood for a blog entry so I should bid adieu before I boringly rambled on..

MATRADE Eastern Region Launch, 15 Jan 09

Hahaha.. have to put the piece de resistence.. that make us soo busy we still hasn't recover.. but good experiance non the less. Thanks to our colleagues, staffs, izan & nadiah our practical students as well as Terengganu companies - all very sporting!

Terengganu - Ri Yaz Heritage & Resort Pulau Duyung

Due to the election time, we had problems searching for accomodation for the HQ staffs to assists in the launching events.. so had to bear with Ri Yaz - bit too expansive for the govt servant so the 41s / 27s / Drivers have to share as the room rate event for govt staff starts at RM345.00

EMBA - Economic Analysis ECO 740

Haven't been posting much.. too much work.. so little time and I had sooo many pics to upload! Been busy with my office launching, then have to go to KL for meetings (3 in a day? haven't got time to meet and catch up with friends! oh well..

Anyway, just want to update on my EMBA course, here is Economic Analysis - torture! HAd the first class last weekend and my brain hasn't recovered since, Thrith be told that I hadn't done any Additional Maths calculation since I was 18 and that is more than 15 years ago.. hahaha...

Terengganu - Preparation for By Election, 17 January 2009

I think like myself, most Terengganu people are amused by the amount or roadwork done before the election. The existing road is still ok, but more upgrade work is done day by day.. though it is good.. there are other road that badly needing upgrading...

I am also amused by the no. of the guys in blue these past few days..

As some of you may know, I spend my time during weekend at Kerteh and the weekdays at Kuala Terengganu, so early mornings Sunday and Thursday afternoons would be my 2 hours weekly drive to and fro.

Today's drive was horrendous. I saw 4 accidents on my way. Granted, it's been raining but 4 accidents in the two hour drive were a bit too much. The first one was at Bukit Bauk Dungun, 2nd & 23rd near Pantai Kelulut and I think were interelated and lastly about 15 kms from the other accidents.. again due to the slippery road of monsoon season.

The most horrendous was the Kancil and lorry. As I drove past, I saw the firefighter lifting the driver out, male.. and face covered, body full of blood. Don't know if he's alive or dead though possibility veered towards the later. The lorry also in a bad way, the driver's portion was smashed badly due to small rise of earth in front.. Innalillah & Al Fatihah..

To the others.. drive safely.. speed kills..

Terengganu - Monsoon Cup 2008

I have taken this picture during my attendance to the Commodore Luncheon on the final day of the Monsoon Cup, 7 Dec 2008 at the Ri Yaz Heritage Resort & Spa, Pulau Duyung.

What can I say .. lovely food (though very small portion).. lovely weather ( I kinda love the gloomy and windy whether eversince my student year at Tasmania... lovely shopping (very good discount since it was on the last day so bought hubby and myself Monsoon Cup T-Shirts and last but not least the last leg of the race between Datuk Peter Gilmore (who won by the way) and.. ??? .. hehehe.. sorry I am not a sport kinda person...

The battle begins. I first thought that the race would invoved shipping racing up and down the length of the Terengganu river but apparently it is not so. Ship would do like an 8 figure on specific spot designated for them. Apparently this spot posed challenges in term of currents etc...

The murky2 water. As I took the pics, I heard the commenter stated that the week has been very interesting. In a week, the sailor has experiance sunny days, moonsoon torrential rain, gloomy days as well.. so they are exposed to all ranges of wheather in those 7 days. I agree that this year monsoon season has finally shown its force. The past few years, the wheather were differnt as mostly were sunny day.
